Workshops and Training

Workshops on topics such as women's leadership, social-emotional learning, parenting an explosive child, understanding and managing anxiety, couples relationship enhancement, and executive functioning are a few of the programs periodically offered to clients and the community.

Support Groups for peers struggling or needing connection. Support groups are thematic, such as social groups for young adults with autism, gap year teenagers trying to determine their next steps, parental workforce re-entry after raising children, grief due to loss of loved-ones, men and masculinity, personal development and wellness enhancement, and mindfulness, to name a few.

Day-long therapy camps for children and adolescents are offered during school breaks, holidays, teacher workdays, and in the summer. Camps provide an engaging day of self-exploration, skill-building and greater self-awareness. Each day includes interactive learning modules, activities, art expression, games, and social experiences in an environment that fosters a genuine sense of belonging through acceptance, inclusion, positive reinforcement, and the identification of individual strengths.

Professional development and continuing education opportunities are made available for psychologists, social workers, counselors, educators, and business leaders that focus on building competencies, cutting-edge interventions, ethics, and other issues that improve the quality of services offered/delivered, as well as the skill set of the professional.
